Bull Haw Bank: 8 Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dalesman: This cache has been in need of care and maintenance for some time and as the owner has not repaired it I am archiving it.

Guidelines: "You are responsible for occasional visits to your cache to maintain proper working order, especially when someone reports a problem with the cache (missing, damaged, wet, etc.). You may temporarily disable your cache to let others know not to search for it until you have a chance to fix the problem. This feature is to allow you a reasonable amount of time - normally a few weeks - in which to check on your cache. If a cache is not being maintained, or has been temporarily disabled for an unreasonable length of time, we may archive the listing."

If you wish to email me please send your email via my profile (click on my name) and quote the cache name and number.

Many thanks,

Geocache Description:

Each cache is a small container covered in black tape with the words “OFFICIAL GEOCACHE” on lid. Boxes include pencils, a few swaps and a logbook. Room for TBs and coins.

This route can be very muddy so please wear sensible footwear. Due bumpy paths and muddy trails this route is neither wheelchair accessible nor pushchair accessible. The route is all along public footpaths or marked trails. The route is just over 2.5 miles.
The route passes Banks Hall, which was residence since 1851, of Misses Frances and Maria Spencer-Stanhope, was for many years the seat of one of the branches of the Greene family. It is situated about a mile to the southwest from the village of Cawthorne.
Don’t forget to find the various co ordinate numbers on the boxes and on the first page of the notebook
