Clara Stone Hay (1849-1914), the wife of John Hay and a woman of independent means, raised their children and stood behind her husband throughout his political career. She entertained in their elegant home on Lafayette Square in Washington D.C., and in their summer retreat, The Fells, http://www.thefells.org.
The container for the third cache of the series, a small lock n lock, is located close to the trail. There is a prize for the FTFer. Happy caching and please respect the environment.
Park along Rte 103A down hill from the trailhead of the Sunset Hill Trail, just across the road from The Fells.
