Once the location of a church, now only a few fragments of the structure remain. Some interesting markers in the area.
Cache is located in Trace State Park.(Entrance Fee $2-$3) It is accessible by motorcycle/ATV trails but walking off trail would be the quicker way. Be sure to set a waypoint at the parking area for the trails. Usually a lot of ATV traffic on the weekends. The hike is about two miles one way with several hills so allow 2-3hrs round trip. Hiking boots, water, rain gear, etc. is recommended.
Since there were already many caches in the Tupelo, MS area that were easily accessible, I thought one that would require more time and some hiking was warranted.
Cache is a large thermos/jug with log book, pen/pencil, and various kid items for trade.
