Geocache Description:

Small locknlock type container, hidden in the trees, closer to Wal-Mart than the Bowling Alley, but how else was I to cram two caches in such a small space? - THORNS. Chop Full O'Thorns near GZ. The rest of it, about average.

This was the bowling alley of choice for the Staples Employee bowling party. So I figured I had to place a bowling cache. It just makes sense.

Turkey means a couple of things to bowling, one, three strikes bowled consecutively are known as a "turkey". The origin of this dates back to before the turn of the 20th century. During Thanksgiving or Christmas week, the proprietor would present a live turkey to people who scored three consecutive strikes.

OR, you also have the holiday favorite, Turkey bowling. Turkey bowling is based on bowling except: a frozen turkey serves as a bowling ball and 10 plastic bottles of soft drinks or water are the bowling pins. The turkey is bowled down a smooth surface, usually ice. It is of course; associated with Thanksgiving.

So this Turkey day, wither you're Bowling for a Turkey Strike, or Bowling a Strike with a Turkey, have fun with it and grab a cache! And for those of you bowling at home, remember to use or replace that wrist strap when playing Wii Bowling. There are enough videos on youtube of people destroying their TVs with WiiMotes in such circumstances, let's not add to it, eh?
