The Shonaigawa(Shonai river) is a first class river that flows in Gifu Prefecture and Aichi Prefecture, and flows into the Ise bay.
The head of river is the Yudachiyama in Gifu Prefecture Ena City.
The river flows in the basin in Mizunami, Toki, and Tajimi, gets out from the Tamano valley in Aichi and the Gifu prefectural boundary, and reaches the Nohbi Heiya.
The Shonaigawa into the Ise bay with the Nagoya City Minato Ward.
To defend a Nagoya City old urban area in the downstream region from the flood, the Shonai river maintains the overflow levee that is called "Araseki" and Retarding such as Shonai Ryokuchi-Koen on the opposite side of the old urban area.
Cache is set up near the bridge constructed in the Shonai river.
Attention: If you move for the Fainal cache from 1st cache by bicycle or foot, the distance is 10km or more.

庄内川は、岐阜県および愛知県を流れ、伊勢湾に注ぐ第一級河川です。
この川の水源は岐阜県恵那市の夕立山付近です。
瑞浪、土岐、多治見の盆地を流れ、愛知・岐阜県境の玉野渓谷を抜け、濃尾平野を通って名古屋市港区で伊勢湾に注ぎます。
下流域の名古屋市旧市街地を洪水から守るために、「洗堰」と呼ばれる越流堤や庄内緑地公園などの遊水地を、旧市街地の反対側に整備してあります。
新川も、そうした庄内川氾濫対策の一つとして整備されたものです。
キャッシュは庄内川に建設された橋の付近に設置してあります。
注意：1stキャッシュとFainalキャッシュ間の移動距離は10km以上になります。徒歩、自転車でのお越しの方はでご注意下さい。
