I've named each of the six caches after a bird that I heard or saw while I was placing the caches.
This is a series of caches at the Wilson M. Powell Wildlife Sanctuary in Old Chatham, NY. This one is by the pond. It is within easy walking distance from the main parking area or you can drive further down the road and park closer. Try out the old hand pump…it actually works! Check out the website for directions, trail maps and information. (www.alandevoebirdclub.org) The sanctuary is closed after dark and no pets are allowed.
