Geocache Description:

A couple weeks ago we discovered this road while picking up a couple caches. We were so pleasantly surprised by it's beauty that we decided to do a road series so that other people might enjoy the beauty as well. All of these are pretty easy finds and most are cache and dash. We hope that you enjoy this scenic drive as much as we did. The gate is not locked, just unravel chains and lift up on gate to open. Please take care that you close and secure gate properly once you are through.

This is a County dirt road, 4x4 is not needed, but there will be some mud puddles after rain or snow. Once you are done with the series you might want to stop for lunch at La Fogata Mexican restaurant in Arvin, it's a small little place, but the food is great and authentic. You are looking for a metal container, Room for small trade items. EZ find, awesome panoramic view!!! This guy got it's name because while scoping out the spot there was a beautiful Red Tail Hawk watching us very closely and screaching to let us know he had his eye on us! Lastly, this is a roadside cache use caution like you would with any roadside cache. There are pullouts whether you are coming up from Arvin or Tehachapi. I would suggest the Tehachapi pullout either way, its a little easier scramble up to the cache... Have fun!!
