There are certain places in life that bring back memories. For it wasn't far from here that the CO got pulled over when this use to be a two laner, might I add not an old Grandpa's stretch of road either.
Back in those days it was popular to hang around with the cops at night and we'd stop and chat. So, that evening after running a friend home from a party who but John Law showed up flashing his lights. Back then they came in one color, red. The officer came up and called me by name and asked what party I was headed for so fast. Of coarse, he laughed and I laughed then told me to cut back on the throttle, well something like that. For then it was the old basic rule, 55 and lets just say one of those numbers was spinning pretty fast. Now I will tell you that the last third of the trip was a lot slower than the first part but I didn't get any trophies for the evening... I must admit, it sure left a memory or two to be nostalgic over...
