From here you can see where the bridge was raised. Over the past 20 years the bridge was raised up twice for the bigger rail cars. the first time inthe early 90s a foot and this past august 18in but this time also had to raise the main rd( rt 28) 2 ft cause the incline was so steep! .Cache is on south side of rt 28 opposite the railroad tracks!
Believe me is much better now we used to have to clean up spilled manure cause peeps would fill spreader to full and run over on incline. lol
