Welcome to Flitwick - with a silent 'W'. This is a series of caches designed to increase Flitwick's presence on the caching map. They will be added gradually over the winter of 2010 / 2011.
If you wish to chase the FTF you'll have to come here often. Alternatively you may want to wait till all of them (I'm intending for them to be 15 plus a bonus cache) to be in place.
Plan your own route around the delights of Flitwick!
Flitwick has 3 lower schools - Templefield, Kingsmoor and Flitwick Lower - and a middle school - Woodland.
Cache #4 is located close to Flitwick Lower School. Flitwick Lower School is Pumpkin Jnr's school. It describes itself as "A hive of learning", hence the cache name. The cache is NOT located on school property or the school fence - though this should be clear from your GPS.
Please do not park near the cache on Temple Way on weekdays during term time as you will be creating a hazard to the children.
The cache is a glue stick containing just a log - after all, you are a geocacher and are bound to have your own writing implement.
The cache isn't magnetic - I had to remove the magnets on the original as it wouldn't fit in its location with them on! Please replace gently.
Don't forget to collect the information needed for the bonus. This is written on the yellow sheet at the front of the log.
Please log any issues / DNF's - even with just a note so I can make sure the cache is still in place.
