Geocache Description:

This is my third cache in the area. All three are inspired by William Miner an amazing man who lived and died here. The history of Chazy is intertwined with this man who made his fortune elsewhere but came home and built schools, hospitals, a hydro electric project to power his model farm with yields far above the average yields of the day and an agricultural research station still operating and linked to Cornell University. (His farm had electricity before the Capital in Albany!)

Sadly, the restaurant and gift shop are closed. The original cache has disappeared but it is replaced with a micro cache in the same location. Bring your own pen or pencil.
