In Conner's Farm Conservation Area. Within 100 feet of a trail but there's rough footing to get to it.
The name of the cache reflects a small beaver lodge in an adjacent pond. Not sure if the lodge is still active, though.
Parking is available on Connor Farm Road off Mann School Road in Smithfield, RI. Please park only in the small designated parking area. This is a quiet residential neighborhood, so please be respectful of private property adjacent to the Conservation Area.
There is a very nice loop trail in this Conservation Area. If you follow the red blazed trail, the total loop is about 2-miles and covers some interesting terrain. It also passes through some very interesting geological formations for those interested in the geological history of this region.
There are numerous places this cache could be hidden once you reach your destination. The container is a small lock-n-lock, but it has been camouflaged to resemble rocks common to the area. Note that there is a New England style rock wall very close to the cache coordinates. The cache is NOT in the wall so it is not necessary to move any rocks in that structure. Please be careful when replacing the cache so as not to push it into an inaccessible location.
Initial contents are: Dice-shaped crafting beads, name tag key-chain, marbles, sea shell, Mickey Mouse bottle cap, and a Star Ornament.
