Welcome to the Florence Roberts Forest
Florence
Roberts was a conservationist, nature lover and a member of the
Mason Conservation Commission for 35 years. She donated the 39 acre
forest on Valley Road now known as the Florence Roberts Forest so
it would remain wild forever. The Mason Scouts recently completed a
trail through the forest that is available for walking and hiking
and now Geocaching. Please take a minute to look over the kiosk at
the parking area N42 44.423 W71 45.921 you will find this just
north of Uncle Sam's house.
