Geocache Description:

Large Ancient Redwood spanning the ravine making a bridge over the Meteor Trail. Don't look under this tree its not there. You'll need your own pen.

I was on an 8 mile hike through Big Basin heading down Meteor Trail to try and find GC2JQGW. I came across this ancient Redwood spanning the ravine from side to side. What really stopped me was the trunk had sprouted new Redwoods growing for the sun. So I stopped to take a couple photos and found this great hide.

I am giving this cache a difficulty of 3.5 maybe even 4, due to the size of the cache and the location. Not to mention I think it is pretty well hidden. Actually very well hidden. If your standing where I took the picture of the Ancient Redwood your going to be next to the cache, which is on the up hill side of the trail.

My GPS was bouncing between 10 to 25 feet in accuracy. Lots of over head and down in the bottom of a ravine.

Your going to need to bring your own pen for this cache.

Congratulations to Michael_SFBA for FTF! (was hoping to stump you some)
