Mt. Mikawa-Hongu is one of my favorite mountains. This mountain is introduced in the guide book called “130 mountains in Aichi Prefecture”. Mt. Mikawa-Hongu is a low mountain and the highest peak is 789.2 meters above sea level in Toyokawa City, Shinshiro City and Okazaki City. There are some routes to climb Mt. Mikawa-Hongu. One of the popular routes to climb Mt. Mikawa-Hongu is from Walking Center. There is Togajinjya-Okumiya shrine on near this top of the mountain. There are 50 guide stones in the approach to the shrine and the mountain climbing trail is always crowded with the climber. Please enjoy going on a hike. Be careful in walking if the trail is covered with the snow in winter. This cache is hidden near Walking Center. Please bring a pen.
