Geocache Description:

This is one of the chicks from The Atomic Hen's (GC2JY4X) first brood.

The Atomic Hen had a brood of a baker's dozen new caches, ready to grab and place. This one was a plastic jar about 8 inches tall and 4 wide. To add to the fun, I put a small camo'd match case in here to continue the tradition. It can be a first finder's gift, if someone wants to put out another cache.

This chick has wandered far from the nest, to a lonely back road in Clinton County. The placement is on easy terrain, and you should be able to drive to it and park within 20 feet of GZ (Assuming you approach from the south, of course. If you come from the north, the terrain will probably be worth a 3 or 3.5, maybe). However, the lane approaching this cache from the south is narrow, and in slippery weather, you may need 4WD or really good snow tires to turn around in the entrances into farmer's fields. I ended up backing all the way back to Lehman Road - just over 1/2 mile - because I was afraid I'd get stuck. Use your own judgment when the roads are slick.
