Geocache Description:

While visiting family in Concord, NH this Thanksgiving, I came across the Happy Holidays challenge cache (GC2289T). What a fun idea! So I emailed the CO (meandmydogs) and asked permission to bring the idea to the Rochester area...the response..."Go right ahead!" The challenge is for you to find at least one cache on each of the specified holiday/observance/event days (referred to collectively as "holidays" on this cache page).

***** THE RULES *****

To complete the challenge and claim the find you MUST do ALL THREE of the following: 1) Find at least one cache on EACH of the 18 identified holidays. It can be any year as long as at the time of finding the cache it was a holiday...so check your previous finds! 2) Sign the log. You can sign the log at any time, even if you have not fulfilled the requirements of the challenge. 3) Provide a list of the holiday finds in your online log (from which I'll verify that the requirements have been met). Include ALL of the following information: ===========> Holiday, Cache GC#, Cache Name, and Date Found

EXCEPTION #1: If you have a streak of 365/366 days you do not need to give me a list since you have found caches on all the holidays, just note it in the log and I'll confirm this on your Statistics page.

EXCEPTION #2: If you have found caches on all of days of the calendar you only need to give me a list of the nine holidays that change each year (see ones with * below), since you've found caches on the holidays that are always the same date each year. Please note that in your log and I'll confirm this on your Statistics page.

***** THE CACHE *****

The cache is a black-painted bison tube at the posted coordinates. It is not meant to be a difficult hide (a little bit of bushwhacking at the end) as the challenge is in meeting the caching requirements.

Happy (Holiday) Caching!!!
