************* Congrats to team antics for FTF!***************
This cache is East of the bridge we want you to visit, The bridge is surrounded by the Prarie Grove Battlefield Park property so we placed the cache outside of the Park.
This is very similiar to the Arch 1 bridge. On the Southwest corner there is a plaque that has the date 1923, the name of the County Judge at the time as well as several other county officials names. It was built by Luten Bridge Company out of Knoxville Tennesse. Like the Arch 1 bridge you can still see the wood grain in the conctrete from the building forms. If you look on the South side of the bridge you can see the old road bed and supports of the older bridge that this one replaced. Makes you wonder what the old bridge looked like?'
This county road is used very little so parking isn't an issue. Bring a camera and take pictures as this bridge will one day be gone.
