Geocache Description:

Such a beautiful winter day for me to be out caching in 2" of fresh snow! Why not go further? The view from this cache site offers an awesome panorama of mountains north of the Frazier River Valley, including Garibaldi Peak, which is the northernmost significant volcano in Cascade Range. A short ways southeast of this cache is the summit of Mt. Stuart which is over 3000' in elevation. Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters are visible a short distance up the road from the cache.

Park at the Stuart Mtn trailhead off of Y Road: N48* 46.000, W122* 20.630. Follow the Stuart Mtn trail up and through forests mixed with clearcuts. There are lots of other caches in the area to be found.

Have fun, and take care descending back down the westbound trail. It can be quite slippery. And please, place the "camo" back so to conceal the cache from snoopy muggle eyes.
