Welcome to the Eastern end of the 10.5-mile long Praeri Rail Trail. All good things must come to an end, even on the beautiful prairie.
This cache was placed with the permission of Story County Conservation. They ask that you please use marked trails as much as possible while searching for this cache.
Please park at: N 42 9.734 W 93 18.552. This is a concrete lot across Highway 65 to the east of the trailhead.
USE CAUTION WHEN CROSSING THE HIGHWAY! It can be quite busy at times.
Also, you will have to cross a small gully just west of the highway. This can have either very little water or can be totally flooded with water depending on the last rain storm.
You are looking for a small lock-n-lock container covered in camo tape. The container has a pen, log book and some small trade items and is large enough to fit small travel bugs and/or geocoins.
Please place the container back as you found it for the next cacher.
