Twelve Christmas Caches: Round Rock Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Boot Group: Had great fun hiding this series years ago. Pulled the remaining out today. It's too difficult to come over from Plymouth to check on all these caches. We will stay more "local" now that we live in Plymouth.

Geocache Description:

Rocky Gutter Wildlife Management Area. Be aware of hunters and wear saftety orange! This is a small lock and lock box.

For years, there's only been one cache in this huge wildlife management area. There's no pretty ponds here or even scenic views. It's just acres and acres of traditional Massachusetts woodlands. There's white pines, red maple, oak, black gum, holly, and white cedar in these woods. Blueberries and greenbrier are also common. There's a few small streams on the maps we reviewed, but we've yet to discover them. There's native wildlife including deer, fox, coyote, rabbit, squirrel and grouse.
This is the kind of woods we love; quiet woods that just seem to go on and on. So, if you, too, are a lover of the local woods then you'll enjoy all the caches MT Pool and I put out today. We placed some quick and easy caches, and some fairly hefty walks out here today. We've barely put a dent in the forest today with the 12 new caches today. We only stopped at 12 because we ran out of daylight. This particular cache is practically a park and grab. Have fun and Merry Christmas!
