This cache is located at the Culinary Institute of America(CIA) in NY State, not that CIA in Washington D.C.. This was the joke whenever someone asked where my son was going to college after finishing high school and Culinary Vo-Tech.
Most people knew he was going to be a Chef and asked where he was going, because he always said JWU, they were confused when we said the CIA, they all said "Is he becoming a spy?"
The second joke was when I asked him for a picture of the "Fall Foliage", his friends all made fun of him.
Anyway this is a very pretty campus and world renown for is specialty. You can get great pictures of the Hudson River. I have included one from the Fall, and some from Dec while placing the cache.
Park only a designated parking, providing two, short walk down hill, great river views.
You are looking for a small, camo colored bison tube (please seal properly)and a single tree. Walk down hill from garage and to your left. Just past/up-river from Hudson Hall.
Return items hiding container exactly to keep hidden from muggles in white jackets & black and white pants looking for things to cook. Area is busy a times, but you should be able to make find without a problem and get great views(especially in the fall). BYOP
There is a "Caching the Pirate Way" Path-tag to keep and log or log and move on as I have for the FTF.

Tried finding Benchmark today 10/2/11, but I think it is atop the big building in the Bell Tower Cross, building locked this morning, if find it please let me know.
N41 44.750 W073 55.990, closest I got was 40 something feet at the Logo in from to the door, looks to be over light post in picture, also coming back down 9S, can see tower well from the back of the building.
