Geocache Description:

The cache is hidden around Morino Sato area.

Kanazawa is famous of delicious historical foods - both fresh seafood fished at the sea of Kanazawa, and elegant & excellent processed food came from the capital (Kyoto). But also Kanazawa people is progressive, and recently, many original style Japanese junk foods are known as Kanazawa special dishes.

In WWII Japan ruled Manshu in China, and one Japanese person was studying cooking Gyoza. After Japan has lost the war, he returned to Japan and taught seven pupils. They studied the master's technique, then fanned out all through Japan. Here in Kanazawa the seventh pupil opened a restaurant, and still had been a very popular. Do you believe the legend?

Until 2006 the restaurant had been at Kodatsuno, but after many part of Kanazawa University had moved to Kakuma area, the restaurant also moved... is it popular to the students?

From a park around the cache point, you can enjoy a view of Asano river, shopping center, and the legendary Gyoza (chinese Jiaozi, italian ravioli) restaurant.

The container is a candy (Frisk) case with magnet.

キャッシュは『もりの里』に隠してあります。

金沢は伝統料理で有名です。金沢沖で獲れる新鮮な海の幸に代表される料理と、都で発達した加工食品を用いたエレガントな料理の双方が混在しています。しかし金沢のひとの気質は先進的であり、最近でも多数の日本的ジャンクフードが金沢の特徴的な料理として発達してきています。

第二次世界大戦中、日本が満州を統治していたとき、ひとりの日本人が餃子を作る技術を学びに渡っていました。敗戦後に引き上げてくると、7人の弟子たちが彼から餃子づくりの技術を習い、日本中に散って行きました。ここ金沢では7番目の弟子が『第7ギョーザ』を開いたそうです。本当でしょうか(笑) ?

2006年まで第7ギョーザは小立野にありましたが、金沢大学が郊外の角間に移転するとともに、第7ギョーザもこの地に移転しました。金大学生に人気があるのでしょうか。

キャッシュポイント付近では、浅野川の景色を楽しむことができます。またショッピングセンターもあり、そして有名な伝説の餃子を楽しむことができます。
