The cache is one a series placed along the walks that leave carlingford village. Free parking is available at information centre in the village.
It can be done as part of a walk on the Barnavave Loop/Tain Way or it can be done as a cache and dash by driving in to the Forest from the entrance on the Carlingford/Omeath Road
The cache is placed is Sliabh Foye forest. It can be found by following the Tain way or Barnavave walks from the village (Signposted). The terrain is road or hard pack forest path from Carlingford to the cache.
The cache no been placed using the "Leave no Trace" guidelines so there is NO need to trample or pull apart anything when searching for the cache.
The cache is located at the upper car park in the forest and there are picnic tables available to have lunch while enjoying the view.
It is a small tupperware container with a few swaps, a notebook and pen.
