This Cache is part of the "Cache Hike #1, Mt. Mitosan to Ome-City" GeoCaching/Backpacking Course. The Cache is a small tupperware container with a screw-on lid and painted in a Camo pattern. It has a log book and several Trade items to swap with lucky Cachers that find this Cache.
However, please bring your own pen. In the winter a pen would freeze and break, at this altitude and the low temps that occur here.
This Cache is located on a Ridge-line Peak, Southwest of the Saiguchi Pass. It has been placed in a hide spot about 4 meters from the park benches that are at the trail junction at this point on the ridge-line.
The hike from Mt Mitosan to this Cache is not that difficult, although there are some areas where there is steep terrain, it's basically a down hill hike from Mt Mitosan to this Cache.
If you approach from the Saiguchi Pass area, you can expect a long steep climb to reach this Cache.
The Cache has a log book and several items for TRADE, for lucky GeoCachers that find it .
Please Trade Fairly so this Cache will last a long time!!
Bring your own pen... Also, be warned that natural falling leaves will make this Cache difficult to see.
Also, iPhones won't work up here in the Mountains
