Geocache Description:

This cache rests on Pine Trail between Oak Portal and the Graham Hill Trail caches. There is entrance-fee parking at the nearby campground, and no-fee parking at the southern end of the Graham Hill Trail. This lock-n-lock has room for small trade items and trackables, but is petite compared to its uphill neighbors.

This long stretch of trail has no impressive geologic features with informative signs. No inviting picnic tables or memorialized benches. No picturesque creek beds or challenging climbs. No mountain bikes or dogs allowed. Nothing to write home about, as some might say.

But this trail's gentle slope and peaceful woods are perfect for the equestrian, or the hiker with weary knees, looking for a bit more time in communion with the trees. I was one such hiker, not so long ago, and offer this cache to invite others on this restful route.

This cache originally held a log and pencil, a deck of pirate playing cards, a Tinkerbell pin, and a trackable Signal FTF coin.

Congratulations to Geokashers for the FTF!
