Geocache Description:

This geocache will take the cache hunter to a little-known but gorgeous waterfall and natural swimming hole down a scenic forest trail...we wanted to hide it here to encourage both locals and Costa Rican tourists to come to this beautiful off-the-beaten-path location. (Also, it was about time that this area had a geocache to call its own!) The landowners have indicated that they have no problem with people hiking over to the waterfall. The best place to park is at 09 59.046 N 085 15.574 W. If you walk past the concrete dam, you will find a human-sized opening in the gating to allow you access to the trail. Trail slopes upward. About 5 minutes down the trail, you'll find a second fence that you can walk under or around. Continue up the trail toward the waterfalls. About one minute before you reach the falls, if you veer away from the stream toward the mountain face, you'll be heading toward the cache itself. (See the additional hint if you have trouble.) After finding the cache, take the additional minute's walk to check out the waterfall...and bring your bathing suit if you'd like to experience the joy of swimming in a clean-water natural pool.

This cache was jointly hidden by local geocacher Mau El Loco and Floridian geocacher JeffGamer. It is a small-to-moderately-sized nut container with some interesting swag. Make sure not to crush the container when you replace it in its hiding spot! Bring your own pen to sign the log, and have fun!
