This cache is located on the Cathie Straight, heading out of Port Macquarie.
Just off the road in a solid structure, so this is a roadside cache so little geos beware!
As the sign indicates, Port Macquarie has an idyllic climate which is just one reason why living on this part of the coast is so rewarding.
This stretch of road heads to Lake Cathie (pronounced Cat Eye) where a great set of swimming options and geo options abound.
The natural lake system and the beaches draw many holiday makers each summer.
