Once upon a time, during the Second World War, Camp Chaffee was a bustling military installation. Construction of the base began on September 20, 1941, with the first troops arriving on December 7, 1941, the same day the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor. To give you an idea of the scale of the base during the 1940's, it was home to five movie theaters, seven chapels, and no fewer than fifteen post exchanges or shopping facilities. Many of these buildings are no longer standing, with only their foundations remaining. Some of them are still standing, but they're in the active portion of the base and are not accessible
Of the five theaters on base, one is in the restricted area, one has a cache nearby that is not part of my series, and the remaining three are part of this series. This cache will take you near the former site of Movie Theater #3. There's a bit of bushwacking involved in getting to this cache in December, so it's probably gonna be a real bear in the summer.
The cache is a camo'ed pill bottle large enough to hold the log and maybe a few geocoins, but not much else. You'll need to bring your own writing tool. As always, please put the cache back as you found it.
I've added a hint, but be forewarned.....the hint will give it away.
