This cache is located along the west shore of Onondaga Lake on the west shore trail system. There are several other caches along the trail to find in addition to this one!
The name of the cache is obtained from the fact that so many people enjoy this part of the trail system with their dogs! Feel free to post pictures of you and your geodogs when you find this cache!
When using the trails, please be aware of the trail courtesy guidelines that are in effect as per the Onondaga Lake Park department:
* Keep to the right.
* Maintain safe, controllable speed.
* Wear proper safety equipment.
* Announce “passing” or “on your left” when passing.
* Be courteous to other users.
* Do not block or crowd the trail - step off to the side when not moving.
By doing so, the trails will be safe and enjoyable for all!
This cache is a micro hidden slightly off of the main trail. This is not a difficult woodland micro! Depending upon the time of the year,you might want to be aware of the nearby vegetation!
