Geocache Description:

The pond here is call Metz Pond, across the road is the old Sodus Center Lumber Mill, closed around the mid 1980's. Still a nice place to see, with a fishing platform, a set of falls, that if you go see, must watch children while crossing the road.

The container is a impromptu tube that holds just a log, BYOP. The area has a steel guard rail that will keep you on the right side of the find. No need to stand in the road to look.
