This is on the Dolomore loop track, A nice walk although a steady climb
Take the time and sit to just listen
Dolomore Park is about 10km from Gore.
A nice tranquil setting that has a number of short walks through 95 hectares of regenerating Podocarp forest and arboretum plantings
This park was named to honour the Dolomore family who gifted 30,000 pounds in 1947 making the development of the picnic areas and facilities possible.
Park gates are closed from Dusk till Dawn
