We decided to try a 5 & 5. I am sorry for the next lines in upper case, but please read them carefully.
THIS IS A CHALLENGE CACHE. WE ARE SORRY BUT NOT ONLY WILL NOT EVERY GEOCACHER FIND, SOME SHOULD NOT TRY. WE DECIDED TO RANK THIS AS A 5 & 5. HERE IS WHY:
DIFFICULTY: MUGGLES EVERYWHERE, YOU CAN'T SEE IT, WON'T SEE IT, HAVE NO IDEA WHERE IT IS, MUGGLES EVERYWHERE, GETTING TO IT IS NOT FUN, SO MANY POSSIBLE HIDING PLACES, MUGGLES EVERYWHERE (ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS), GETTING TO IT IS BAD, RETURNING FROM IT IS WORSE, IT IS NOT A PRETTY LOCATION, (TREE COVER PLAYS HAVOC WITH GPS READINGS...EVEN THE ONES POSTED FOR THIS CACHE), MANY MUGGLES, ETC.
IS SPECIAL EQUIPMENT REQUIRED? WE WERE TOLD THAT IS NECESSARY FOR A 5 STAR (???) MAYBE. IT WAS PLANTED WITHOUT IT, BUT CERTAINLY COULD HAVE USED IT.
TERRAIN: SPEAKS FOR ITSELF.
Again - DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE just to get a find. Like a scuba cache, a mountain top cache, a cache in the middle of the 50 yard line at the Super Bowl, this one has inherent problems you must overcome. If you are not comfortable with it, just let it go and we'll give you a spoiler for one of our other harder caches instead.
THIS IS NOT A CACHE FOR CHILDREN AND ONE SHOULD PROBABLY BE IN DECENT SHAPE TO TRY IT.
WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO HEAR FEEDBACK - WE DON'T THINK WE OVERRATED IT WITH THE 5/5 BUT WHO KNOWS. THE FTF MAY TAKE 2 MINUTES AND SHOW US WE WERE WRONG. WE ARE JUDGING THIS BASED UPON WHAT WE DID TO PLANT IT, COMPARED TO OVER CACHES AND THEIR RATINGS, AND WHAT WE BELIEVE WILL BE A CHALLENGE FOR CACHERS TO COLLECT.
This cache is not on any school property.
