nice easy cache and dash or spend a bit of time watching the wildlife.
easy parking on site..wheelchair friendly right up to gz but may need someone to reach it...sometimes the airport road security gates can be closed at either end but pedestrian gates will be open,but it might be a bit of a walk...there is no need to enter the RSPB. grounds to retreive the cache...

This oasis of calm is just 10 minutes from the centre of Belfast. We manage the lagoon to create ideal conditions for wading birds and ducks in autumn and winter, and for breeding terns in summer.
Come and visit the observation room and you'll be able to see a wide variety of birds, at extremely close quarters. Staff and volunteers can answer any questions or help you use the binoculars and telescopes. There are also lots of special events for families and children throughout the year.
Opening times
Viewpoints open at all times; observation room open Tuesday to Saturday (9 am to 5 pm), Sundays (1 pm to 5 pm). Closed Mondays and Sunday mornings and 25 December and 1 January.
Entrance charges
None, but donations to help us continue our work here are appreciated.
