Geocache Description:

The Falcon Street Flyover bypasses the worst designed traffic intersection in Australia, where Falcon Street and the Warringah Expressway collide. It was opened in August 2009 as part of the North Sydney Council pedestrian / cycleway programme, linking Neutral Bay with North Sydney.

Though not in the same league as the Millau Viaduct in Southern France, bridge aficionados will find this sweeping new structure well worth the visit, on foot or on bicycle. Like the upturned rib cage of a dead sea monster, it lies across the busy approaches to the Harbour Bridge, crossing more than 20 lanes of traffic, interspersed with thin islands of native vegetation. Some stealth may be necessary, and beware of muggles on speeding bicycles. Please note the cache location and replace it EXACTLY where found. Gently replace container lid, DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN, as this has frustrated several cachers! This will make it easier for you, and following hunters.
