CoyoteTrust: The short story: it's archived. The long story: this had been a lonely cache, and I figured one day I'd go to check on it, but likely archive it. I was talked out of that by Reetaville who actually did a maintenance check(s) and added a container at Stage 1. Today I checked stage 1 (hmm, probably could use some clue clarification on a chromatic scale). At stage 2, the clues remained, but I collected them with intention to improve & replace them. Of course Stage 3 -- the final cache -- turned out to be missing. After cursory checks & finding nothing in the nearby ravines, the original plan to archive has been put in effect. Many times I'd spill the beans on the layout of a cache that I archive; in this case I'll be a little vague. This relatively-easy field puzzle cache was a twist on cache GC1ERC1 in Minnesota. This was a little different in that, while using the cache page for guidance, you looked for rocks and dog tags -- the clues of which would lead you to the final (picture attached to give you an idea). Thanks to all of you who've tried this cache, successfully or not. Thanks, and sorry to, Reetaville for your concerns & efforts related to this cache. (Recovered all clue stages. No trash left behind).
