Kuutostien varressa etelästä päin tultaessa taulu on Maanselän jälkeen Lappavaarassa, joka maastoltaan muistuttaa kaikkea muuta kuin vaaraa. On hyvä tietää, että Maanselkä on yli 200 metrin korkeudella merenpinnasta muodostaen vedenjakajan ja silloin tasaisemmaltakin vaikuttava maasto on "vaarakorkuista".

On the mainroad number 6, when you come from the south the board lies in Lappahill right away after Maanselkä. Lappahill seems to be only a flat area. It is good to know, that the whole area is over 200 meters from the seelevel, the highest hilltops even 240 meters. So The Lappahill-area is high enough to earn its name. Maanselkä is an area which devides the water to flow to the south or to the north.
