The Grand River has played a major role in the development of the region. Now it can play a role in the development of your geocaching adventure.
Look, it is just over there. It is real close. You can be mere metres away from this cache yet find yourself unable to get to it.
The cache is located on an island. You can either approach from the river on some kind of suitable watercraft or you can you brave the elements and wade across. I do not recommend taking the shortest distance.
This cache has been placed with the property owner's permission. it's a popular spot in the summer and at various other times throughout the year so be mindful of muggles. They will be able to see you from the shore.
Never attempt a cache on, in or near water alone. This cache is no exception.
This section of the Grand River DOES NOT freeze in the winter. There will be no easy crossings in cold weather.
