A traditional cache located at an idyllic spot in Ahuriri Conservation Park.
We found this spot while doing a cache on this road. The road is generally in good condition although this can change with adverse weather conditions. There are several fords (usually dry), but these are subject to the weather.
The cache is close to nearby information panels, seats and toilets. It is an idyllic picnic spot with great views up the Ahuriri Valley.
Cache is a 400ml clear Sistema container with log, pencil and several swaps.
