This will be our second Geocaching visit to South Africa; we
last came in 2007 when we only found 14 caches. This time during
our two weeks visit we expect find more, many more!
Join us for this informal Geocaching gathering from 3pm to about
6pm at the 'Casa del Sol' during this sunny afternoon as we catch
the last of the South African summer sun rays (well, we hope!) then
fly north to winter. This bar/cafe offers a wide range of drinks
and hot and cold food with great views of the strand and the Cape
of Good Hope on the horizon. – lookout for obvious Geocaching
paraphernalia.
Car parking is available along the length of Beach Road and its
side streets, but I’m not sure if there are any parking
restrictions nowadays; there wasn’t in 2007 when we last
looked! I will update this page on arrival.
