A Micro in the Woods
After a very successful weekend of caching with Pilgrims Progress in the Myrtle Beach area we were inspired to place a cache along our route as we were headed home. As we were scouting locations we spied this area and thought “wonder what’s up here”. It looks to be an abandoned gas station that in its day I am sure saw a lot of travelers headed for fun and sun, or weary sunburned families that just wanted to get home and relax after a week at the beach. Now it is just a shell of a building with nobody around.
You will be looking for a micro hidden just beyond the station. Yes it is a micro in the woods. Container is slightly larger than a film canister. It may take a few attempts to find, but don't be discouraged, it is not meant to be an easy cache. It will give all of the travelers heading to and from the coast a chance to get out and stretch their legs for a bit.
