Geocache Description:

Recrudescent is an adjective that refers to something breaking out anew after a dormant or inactive period.

You're looking for a .50 cal ammo box hidden a stone's throw off a wide and clear trail.

Several years ago I was actively collecting travel bugs with which to equip a planned travel bug hotel cache. Unfortunately, I misplaced the bag containing the bugs. I made a number of thorough searches for the missing travel bugs without success.

When I moved, I hoped that several AWOL articles would come to light. To my great relief, the travel bug bag did indeed emerge from hiding. It was literally behind the last large item removed from the house -- and how it ever got there is way beyond my meager powers of deduction.

So, at long last I've placed the travel bug cache that was planned for so long ago. All the travel bugs in the cache, save two, I've held for far, far too long. I offer my sincere apology to all the travel bug owners effected.

This cache is not meant to be a travel bug hotel. Please do not feel the need to swap travel bug for travel bug. In fact, do not feel the need to honor the quid pro quo tradition of geocaching when you visit this cache. The paramount goal is to get these long-neglected travel bugs back out on the trails.

I suggest that you park at 38º 33.805 85º 47.678. From there you will have a bosky .3 mile stroll along a wide trail practically directly to the cache.

I should point out that I haven't the greatest confidence in the cache's coordinates. I watched for about eight minutes while my tired twelve - year - old - technology GPS receiver displayed a wide variance in possible coordinates to publish. I averaged out the coords as best I could.

If you have trouble with the coordinates provided and feel that you can provide more accurate ones, please feel free to email them to me and/or to post them in your log.

This cache is hidden in the identical manner as my "Crazy Quiddler's Used Car Lot" cache. Some of you may desire a further hint, especially given the issue of iffy coords, so I have provided one.
