Geocache Description:

Spot No.7 in Nagatsuta Jukkei (10 sceneries)

Nagatsuta was one of post stations in Edo era. Travelers between Edo (former name of Tokyo)
and Odawara could rest their journey.
As memorial of the history, Yokohama city established "Nagatsuta Jukkei (10 sceneries)" and
they are promoting for historical sight seeing. (visit link) (Japanese only)

The cache is located 7th spot. Lamp post monument at the town was set at the area.

The container is a plastic box with size of 7x5x3 cm.
Note: Cache is not located in monument stage area. Please keep off the monument.

長津田は、江戸時代に江戸と小田原を結ぶ街道にあった宿場町の一つでした。
当時をしのぶために、横浜市で「長津田十景」として残そうとしています。 (visit link)

このキャッシュはその第7番目であり、当時の宿場町を象徴する常夜灯の碑が残されています。

キャッシュは7×5×3cmのプラスチックコンテナです。
注意: キャッシュは碑の有る高くなった部分にはありません。
