Geocache Description:

FTFgoes to Cashew Knutz

I am a puzzle cache and as is the case with so many puzzle caches I am puzzling. But don't let that deter you for even a second because when you find me, if you ever do, you'll pop yourself on the forehead because I was so much easier to find than you thought at first.

In fact, I suggest you bring along a ball peen hammer; if you spend more than 1/2 hour looking for me you should just go ahead and take the hit.

The posted coordinates are close to where I've made my home. They are within 100 feet. I'm sorry I can't be more accurate, but rabbits can't use measuring tapes. It's that whole opposable thumbs thing. Do you realize how fortunate you are to have opposable thumbs! There's so much more you can do when you have opposable thumbs. Anyway, I know that "within 100 feet" is not very helpful but it's what you've got to work with. I asked my cousin, Math Rabbit, about the the total area you might need to search. He said it's approximately 125,000 sq. ft.

Are you feeling lucky, punk?

All is not lost and the search will be easier if you only look where rabbits build their homes. I'll make this as clear as I can!!! DON'T waste your time looking in places where rabbits CAN'T live. Examples might be, in the tree tops, underwater, and in the trunk of your car.

Before we get too deeply into our rabbit discourse, let me vent for just a little bit about you anthropocentric humans with your big brains, two legged walking upright thing and those opposable thumbs! I am not a hare. Hare and rabbit are not synonymous. But you just won't take the time to learn much about those of us a little lower on the food chain, will you?

Of course you won't. You're at the top of the food chain. But I have a word of advice for you, human person. Beware of rabbits with big pointy teeth!

Some people like the taste of rabbit. If you're one of those who does and are hoping to make a meal of me instead of signing my log and leaving me to live out the remaininder of my rabbity life then you'd best be prepared to boil me for a really long time before I'm tender.

While you're in the area of Loriella Park you might want to search for these nearby caches: Too Much Stuff!!, We Will Never Forget 9/11 #3, Gotta Get Up...To Get Down, Two-in-the-Bush Games People Play, and 134340.
