Geocache Description:

Ventured down by the water and discovered a wrecked sailboat. Decided to place a cache nearby.

Well, the boat is gone now, but the cache is still there!

This little area at the end of McCorrie is popular among locals for walking dogs and nighttime bonfires. Getting to the cache does require a very small amount of bushwhacking. Watch out for thorns!

Note: Thorns are minimal when entering from the Western side of the beach. It is the point where the tree is closest to the water. Basically, walk all the way to the shore and go from there.

Do not be deterred if the car route is flooded. If you park where the flooding starts, you can follow the walkway to the cache (walkway starts at the fence, then walk along the shore until you see the path).
