Zum finden des Verstecks musst Du unbedingt diese 2 Gebote befolgen:
- Du verlässt niemals den gekennzeichneten Wanderweg.
- Das Berggebiet um Dich herum ist z.T. sehr brüchig. Deshalb ist das Versteck nicht höher als 1.50m ab Boden. Also sind nirgends Kletteraktionen nötig um das Versteck zu finden.
Wenn Du denkst Du seist am Ziel und Du siehst diese Panorama vor Dir ...
... dann hast Du bereits gegen das 1. Gebot verstossen und der Fluch des Not-am-Cache kommt über Dich und Du wirst ein "DNF" loggen, versprochen!
Wenn Du Dich dem Ziel auf ca. 100 Schritte näherst, wird's Dunkel um Dich herum. Denke an das 1. Gebot und beachte die Attribute!
Sonstiges:
- Das Gelände ist (fast) nicht weiter schwierig; der Boden ist geteert, als Wanderweg gekennzeichnet, die Steigung beim Cache ist bescheiden (nicht aber der Aufstieg), aber sonst spielt sich der Such-Vorgang nebst der Spezialität hier auf wegsamem Untergrund ab.
- Versteckt ist ein Micro in einem Loch mit ca. 4 x 4cm Durchmesser, verdeckt durch ein Steinchen davor. Du musst als keine grossen Brocken bewegen und schon gar keine Veränderungen an der Umgebung vornehmen; das was schon ist genügt vollends.
- Du hast Finger wie eine Pinzette oder ein Stück Draht dabei; dieses könnte sich in der Schlussphase als hilfreich erweisen
- Nach dem Loggen: Bitte das Döschen nur leicht Handfest verschliessen, damit die Gummidichtung nicht beschädigt wird. Schiebe den Micro wieder ganz hinein damit Deine Nachfolger dieselben Bedingungen haben und verkeile den Stein im Loch.
Zum Schluss nochmals:
Klettere nirgendwo hoch, denke an den Fluch des Not-am-Cache.
Zur Anfahrt / Wanderung:
Wenn Du mit Deinem Cache-Mobil unterwegs bist, parkiere unten beim empfohlenen Parkplatz unterhalb der Ruine Gräpplang. Das Strässchen Richtung Versteck habe ich zwar für Verkehr offen vorgefunden, ich weiss aber nicht ob das immer so ist, denn die Strasse ist zudem als Wanderweg gekennzeichnet und ist ebenfalls für Biker empfohlene Auf- und Abfahrt zum und vom Flumserberg. Zudem ist das Strässchen nur 1 Fahrzeug breit und die wenigen Ausweichstellen sind definitiv nicht zum Parkkieren unserer CMs zur Drive-In Cache Suche gedacht. Quads habe ich auf dieser Strasse auch schon fahren sehen. Gönne Dir also eine schöne Wanderung oder Bike-Tour: Strecke ca. 2 km, Höhenunterschied + 180m, Zeit Aufwand zu Fuss: schätzungsweise 30 Min. Dafür wirst Du auf dem ganzen Weg mit einem fantastischen Ausblick ins Tal und auf die vis-a-vis gelegenen Berge entschädigt.

To find the cache you necessarily have to follow these instructions:
- You never leave the marked trail.
- The mountain area around you is quite fragile. Therefore the cache is not hidden higher than 1.50m from the floor; to find the cache you do not have to perform any climbings anywhere.
If you think you have reached the goal and you have in front of you this scenic view...
... you have not followed the 1st instruction and the Not-at-the-Cache ban will come over you and you'll have to log a "DNF" for sure.
When you come approx. 100 steps near to the cache location, you will surely step into the dark. Think about the 1st instruction and check the attributes!
Various:
- The site is not very difficult; the floor is tarred, marked as walking trail, the slope at the cache is not steep (except the trail near to the cache), but otherwise the search can be done quite on a flat floor.
- Hidden is a Micro in a hole of 4 x 4cm diameter, hidden by a small stone. Therefore you do not have to move big stones and you do not have to do any changes at the site; that what you'll find is enough.
- Either your fingers are small like pincers or a piece of wire will help to recover the cache.
- After logging: Please close the box only slightly, not to dammage the rubber gasket. Push the Micro deep in the hole and close the hole with the small stone, so that following cachers will find the same conditions.
A warning again:
Do not climb up anywhere, think at the ban of Not-at-the-Cache.
Directions / walking trail:
If you are here by car, park the car down by the recommended car park down under the Ruin Gräpplang. The street up to the cache is open for cars but I don't know if this is during all the year; this street is also a walking and biking trail from and to the Flumserberg. The street is just 1 car wide and the few passing places are not intended to park cacher's cars. Have a nice hike up to here and you'll get a scenic view down to the valley and the mountains in front ouf you.
