Geocache Description:

January 2011 has been a record for the most snow in one month in Edmonton and it has also been a record for BC's most DNF's in a month in Edmonton.

Time for some more winter friendly caches that are findable in a meter of snow.

Here's my challenge to all Edmonton and area cachers with over 500 finds. Get out there and set a winter friendly cache or, like I did with this one, kill a winter unfriendly cache of yours and replace it with friendly one.

Cache is near the way cool new pedestrian bridge across the N. Sask so accessible from either side of the river.

Note that I found the last ten meters to the cache winter friendly as I had snow shoes on but it's only 10 meters. The remainder of the access is by a well-maintained trail.
