Welcome to the Kaiser Center Roof Garden, or the Secret Garden as I called it. This is a beautiful oasis in an urban environment, a nice place to hide away and get away from city. Take a few moments, wander around. The stations you must go to to get the cache coordinates are distributed such that you must travel around the garden.
The garden is accessible from several stairways and elevators, I typically take the stairway at the northeast corner of the parking garage. The street side door may be locked, but you can get in for sure by entering the garage and swing around to the stairwell.
This garden, and hence the cache, is accessible during regular business hours. You cannot get to the garden after dark, but I’m unsure if the garden is open weekends or holidays.
I hid this multi-cache for two reasons:
1) I much prefer caches that draw me somewhere interesting/unique/beautiful, especially if I would have found it otherwise. Consequently, these are the kind of caches I hide.
2) This is my first multi-cache, and frankly I wanted one hide of that type.
The cache is a plastic container about the same height as a film canister but about twice the diameter. It will accept small items and micro-geocoins. At the time of hiding the cache contained a few small items plus a 10-year anniversary of geocaching micro-geocoin. It is camoed with black tape. It is hidden in a medium that can be difficult, but is visible from the proper angle. Please re-hide it where you found it to preserve the difficulty and to make sure it is not removed by gardeners, which has happened to previous caches in this garden.
If you are at the posted coordinates, you should be near a guide labeled “Landscape Plan of Kaiser Roof Garden”. You’ll need this plan. To find the cache you must use:

Where,
AB: From the roof top garden plan, walk across the pond bridge to a Magnolia Grandiflora in a large hexagonal planter. Find the plaque honoring X number of years of Tony Flood’s service as a gardener. AB = X + 27
C: If you go to N37° 48.567’ – W122° 15.902’, you are standing between two large round planters. Go to the roof garden plan and determine what is planted in these planters. Y is the number on the plan legend indicating what plants these are C = Y/2.
D: If you’re facing the garden plan you are facing south. On the roof garden plan, find the northeast most Cork Oak. Go to this cork oak. D equals the number of large, boulder size volcanic rocks around the base of this oak.
