Leave the Quad and hike the rest of the way!
Bring your camera.
Be careful of snakes, they could be anywhere nearby.
Stout shoes are a must, and please be sure to bring adequate water.
Tell someone where you are going and don't skimp on emergency supplies.
The closest "Legal" road is FS120, BUT it is about 3/4 Mile hike from the closest point.
Don't know about USFS activity around there, but why take chances...
