We noticed this area a couple of weeks ago, when we were hiding a cache nearby, and came back to check it out. We thought it would be best to not try to drive it and parked the geomobile off to the side. While we were going through our cache containers to see what we had that we may want to hide, a gentleman and his dog came walking by. After they were far enough ahead of us, we began our walk. Geopup Layla had a wonderful time, running and sniffing, while we hid some caches.
Although this area isn't designated for this purpose, we were struck with what a good place it would be to bring Layla back to for walks and thought maybe other geopups would enjoy it, too. Of course, a dog companion is not required to earn a smiley.
Each cache is hidden near the trail so very little, if any bushwhacking is necessary.
